Adobe Captivate Mini-Lesson

Analyzing Graphs of Parabolas in the Real-World

This lesson was designed as a part of an E-learning Design and Development course during my time in the Learning Design and Technology master’s program at Texas A&M University. This lesson incorporates different interactivity features to keep the learner engaged throughout the activity.

I designed this mini-lesson to be used in my high school math classroom. This activity served as an interactive way to explore graphs of parabolas and how they change when their equation changes. It was important for my students to see how each change effected the graph; as the students hovered over different parts of the equation, explanations would appear on the graph.
